PETITION WITH ANDOM

1. Get Your Andom Organizing Packet

• Confirm you’re a Registered Democrat in New York State in order to carry petitions.

• Share your Voter Status with Team Andom.

• Download Organizer on your mobile device or request a walk list from us. 

• Carry voter registration cards in English & Spanish depending upon your region.

• Always carry our literature.

2. Tips & Rules to Follow While Petitioning 

Ensure you collect signatures from Registered Democrats Registered in NY16 on your assigned turf/region 

• Petition carriers must have the signer complete the following:

  • Printed Name 

  • Home Address 

  • Signature

  Printed names & address must be legible. 

• No one may sign for another person (Ex: mother can’t sign for son, etc.)

3. Collect Signatures & Mobilize Voters 

• After you complete the petition, be sure to collect their phone number & email along with any additional pertinent details. 

  • Be sure to collect all this additional info in Organizer or digitally on your mobile device.

At the End of Your Shift:

1. Go to HQ & complete the Statement of Witness (at bottom of sheet) under direct supervision of the Field Director.

2. Print your Full Name & Street Address, the total # of signatures gathered on that page, date, & signature.

3. Never cross out a signature under any circumstances.
